Olivia Minyard
Get ready to meet the amazing Olivia Minyard!
Olivia has been dancing for four years, starting her journey at just three years old. She truly is the sweetest kid ever, with a heart that is just as big as her talent. In class, Olivia is a dream - she always works incredibly hard and brings pure joy to both her teachers and her teammates.
When she steps onto the stage, Olivia absolutely radiates! Known for her amazing performance quality, she always comes up with the best facial expressions to make sure her performance shines. We are so incredibly proud of her dedication and growth, and we can’t wait to watch this little firecracker continue to light up the stage!

How many years have you been dancing?
4 years

What are some accomplishments (at dance, school, or anywhere) that you are most proud of?
A couple of accomplishments are winning so many times for my first duet ‘Surfs up’ last year and getting chosen for Mini Outstanding Dancer.

What is your favorite dance memory?
My favorite memory is getting to do my first solo! Also, pushing through tricky even though I was feeling sick at recital. All of the girls were so encouraging and sweet.
What is your favorite style of dance, and what do you love about it?
My favorite style of dance is hip hop and jazz. I love hip hop because you get to do fun dance moves. I didn’t want to do it this year, but I tried something new. Jazz is my very favorite because it’s calm but energetic and sassy at the same time.
What is your favorite dance move?
A pirouette. I’m working on getting my double turn!
If you had a dance superpower, what would it be?
I would choose being the most flexible.

What are your favorite things to do when you are not dancing?
I love going to my gymnastics class and playing with my dogs.
Who is a dancer that you look up to and why?
River! I love that she’s so nice and sweet. She always makes sure to give me a big hug and tell me good job or good luck. She’s one of the first older girls to really be a big sister at dance.
What is your favorite dance joke or a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I do modeling and I’m homeschooled.
