Chanlee is a true Dance Machines super star and a powerhouse of talent, boasting an incredible 10 years of dance experience! When Chanlee hits the floor, you know you're about to see something amazing! She possesses breathtaking tumbling skills and her leaps are absolutely incredible covering the stage with effortless grace and power. Chanlee's impact goes beyond her spectacular dance ability... she is the definition of dedication, constantly working hard in every single class. Plus, she’s a total sweetheart to everyone she meets. Let's Hear it From Chanlee...
What are some accomplishments (at dance, school, or anywhere) that you are most proud of?
I am proud of my Russians and how high I have gotten them. I am also proud of my hard work in my tumbling and being close to my back handspring.
What is your favorite dance memory?
My favorite dance memory is going to Galveston for Nationals with my friends and family and having the car wash at the studio this year.
What is your favorite style of dance, and what do you love about it?
My 2 favorite styles of dance are Hip Hop and Jazz. I like hip hop because you dance really big. I like the music and this year we have jumps and stunts. I like jazz because we do lots of turns and leaps.
What is your favorite dance move?
I have a few favorite moves and one of them is the snake. I also like ripples.
What are your favorite things to do when you are not dancing?
My favorite things to do when I am not dancing are playing teacher with my sister, making bracelets and tumbling all over the house.
Who is a dancer that you look up to and why?
The dancer I look up to the most is Brooklyn Dougher. I look up to her because she is nice, funny, dances big and she is just really good at dancing.
What is your favorite dance joke or a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is I have Dyslexia and my aunt also danced at Dance Machines.
