We are absolutely thrilled to recognize one of our incredible Junior Crew members — Sophia Herrera. Beyond being a gifted dancer who truly captures the spotlight, Sophia possesses a spirit and heart that are truly second to none. Sophia is genuinely one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! She is always ready with a giant hug, and her smile has a way of lighting up the entire room the moment she walks in. Sophia is a truly genuine person who treats everyone with kindness.

On stage, she is absolutely captivating with her brilliant smile and incredible facials. She is one of those dancers that you just can't resist to watch because her love of dance shows in every move she makes.

We absolutely adore Sophia and feel so blessed to have her as part of our studio family.

How many years have you been dancing?

9 years

What are some accomplishments (at dance, school, or anywhere) that you are most proud of?

Being awarded as a petite team favorite, I was so surprised!

What is your favorite dance memory?

When we got first placed in hip hop, I was so proud and excited!

What is your favorite style of dance, and what do you love about it?

My favorite style is hip hop, I love the music and when we dance big.

What is your favorite dance move?

My front walkover in production.

If you had a dance superpower, what would it be?

My dance superpower would be to be able to do any trick and turn a lot!

What are your favorite things to do when you are not dancing?

When I am not at dance I like to play with my Rottweiler puppy, Nala.

Who is a dancer that you look up to and why?

I look up to Makenzie Martinez because she does really good turns and leaps!

What is your favorite dance joke or a fun fact about yourself?

My fun fact about myself is I play on a flag football team called Texas Storm.
